The Long Paddle is about more than breaking world records and raising money for charity. There isn’t nearly enough education around water safety here in the UK, especially considering the UK is an island nation. Following the completion of his epic adventure, Brendon is continuing to spearhead change here in the UK – and he needs your help through sponsorship.
Brendon is fundraising for the development of the world’s first-ever water safety app – an innovative, gamified app that will teach children and young adults about water safety. With a series of interactive challenges and minigames, the app will be available on both mobile and desktop. There will also be accessible, easy-to-read information for adults about low and high tides as well as keeping little ones safe in and around the water.
